We interviewed four top realtors in the Conejo Valley before choosing Rosemary Allison to list our house, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Rosemary was extremely knowledgeable about the market and our neighborhood, and she made sure her team was as knowledgeable when showing the house. Rosemary's team helped to stage the house and coordinated pictures that highlighted the unique features of the property. Our house was listed on the front page of the Star Home Section and on the cover of Homes and Land in December. Although we listed our house over the holidays, typically a slow time to list property, we had an offer right after New Year's Day for the full listing amount. It is with pleasure that I am writing this review about Rosemary. I had lived in Santa Rosa Valley over 35 years ago and it seems like everyone in Santa Rosa Valley had heard of Rosemary and how involved, energetic, and successful she was. Fast forward to the last few years and we decided that the home we built in Spanish Hills over 20 years ago needed to be put up for sale as we were planning on moving out of state. We foolishly listed with another realtor not thinking that Rosemary handled homes in Spanish Hills. We were dead wrong. Rosemary handles homes all over Ventura County and into Los Angeles County. We had an unpleasant experience with our prior agent and reached out to Rosemary to help us once the listing was done. Rosemary goes ABOVE and BEYOND everything you would hope for in a realtor. She truly cares for each and every one of her numerous clients, yet makes you feel that you are her only one and is there all of the time to walk you through the process from start to finish.............and even after finish just to check on you to see how you are doing. Rosemary spares nothing when it comes to collateral material and presents your house very professionally in numerous advertisements (magazines, articles, online, etc.). Rosemary is an exceptional agent! I listed my parents' home with her in Camarillo and sold it all within three months! I live far away so I had to have Rosemary check the progress with the contractors and give her opinion while the home was being remodeled. She recommended the best painter (who gave a very fair price, honest, and did top-quality work) as well as the flooring company who also gave a fair price and we received great service and quality products. Rosemary is very honest and will tell you what you need to do get your home sold. Every time I called Rosemary, she picked up the line almost no matter what time of day. She was always open to suggestions about the way I wanted to word the ad (in fact she welcomed our input), changed the order or deleted any photos we felt did not show our home well, and her tough negotiating skills served us well as we received everything she recommended. She brought in a second photographer since we remodeled and even incorporated a few digital staging photos all to help us sell our home faster. My only suggestion is be proactive yourself! Look at your listing, see if the photos show well and see if your wording features your home to its best potential. If not, work with her and provide suggestions. She is open to any and all suggestions to help sell your home!
